Welcome

Many parents question if their child needs Speech Therapy.
Questions and concerns about Speech and Language Development
are normal.  We want to help you find the answers.

The American Speech-Language Hearing Association estimates that
at least 7% of children have "
significant limitations in language
ability."  "When you become concerned, don’t delay.  No child is too
young to be helped. If there is a problem, early attention is important.
If there is no problem, you will be relieved of worry.”  The Canadian
Association says that "
early intervention is key".  They have launched
an awareness program to promote the importance of early
identification.

Speech and Language development is a complex process that often
leaves parents with questions as to how their child is doing.  Our
Speech-language Pathologist has more than 17 years experience
assessing child development and helping parents.  We want to help
you gain a better understanding as to how your child's speech and
language development compares to what may be expected for their
age.

Speech Check offers two separate services.  You can take the
Speech Check Questionnaire or Consult with a registered Speech
Language Pathologist.
