You Decide

Speech Check provides you with the information that you need to
decide if your child needs to be seen for a full speech and language
evaluation. Many parents have questions about how their child is
doing. We want to help you find the answers.

You are provide with:

Our judgement as to how your child's speech or language

        development is doing. This judgement is based on
        our Speech-Language Pathologist's 15 years of experience
        working with and assessing children. You will know if your
        child is very ahead, ahead, behind, very behind or about
        right.

A list of speech or language abilities that would be typical

for your child at his or her age.

A list of warning signs that might indicate a serious

communication problem.

Age appropriate ideas on how to stimulate speech or

language development.
